Abstract

The document specifies the conditions for the determination of compression properties of ceramic matrix composite materials with continuous fibre reinforcement for temperatures up to 2000 °C under vakuum or gas atmosphere which is inert to the material under test. This specified method applies to ceramic matrix composites with a continuous fibre reinforcement unidirectional, bidirectional and tridirectional, loaded along one principal axis of reinforcement.
