Abstract

This document describes methods for the preparation, marking and measuring of textile fabrics, garments and fabric assemblies for use in tests for assessing dimensional change, e.g. on washing, dry cleaning, soaking in water and steaming. The methods are applicable to woven and knitted fabrics and to flat-woven, made up textile articles.
