Abstract

The document specifies the safety reuirements of a two-hand control device as a safety device which requires both hands of one person to initiate and also to maintain the operation of a machine. It desribes the main characteristics of two-hand control devices for the achievement of safety and sets out combinations of functional characteristics for three graduated types.
