Abstract

This document specifies the safety and ergonomic requirements and the corresponding test methods for auditory danger signals and gives guidelines for the design of the signal to be clearly percieved and differentiated as required in 5.3 of EN 292-2. It does not apply to verbal danger warnings (e.g. shouts, loudspeaker announcements).
