Abstract

The document specifies the test methods to be used to assess the resistance of gaiters to cutting by hand-held chain saws. A test method of assessing the strenght of underfood straps of gaiters is also included. It is applicable to gaiter used together with safety foorwear according to EN 345 with a metallic toecap.
