Abstract

This document gives the technical safety requirements for the design and construction of extruders for plastics and rubber. Suitable measures shall be taken with the design and construction so that persons working with the machines, or in their vicinity, are not endangered. Specification about safety requirements, construction, design, hazards, guarding and interlocking are described in several paragraphs.
